They came to my house without notification and started the job while I was at work. My neighbor noticed and called me as they also started on his driveway. They were mostly done by the time I got home.
They had torn up the end of my driveway wear the worst part was, about 5 feet, and left the rest.
I questioned them and asked them to do it the way the contract was written. I repeatedly ask them to do it right. The worker assured me this was the best way to do it and that they guaranteed they would come back and fix it if I wasn't satisfied. He began raising his voice at me and I felt very intimidated. I did call them back, they came out and just repeated the same story that it would settle and be great. They insisted on cash and were very intimidating about paying them.
When I realized I could see my old driveway through the new asphalt, weeds started growing through it, and puddles formed the company could not be found again. No call back, no more website, no village info about permits, nothing. My neighbor and I both got scammed by them.
I thought I did enough research on them but now realize it was all phony and they are not coming back to check up on the work. I can't find them anywhere. I am mad and feel stupid as well as having a driveway that will not last more than a few years.
