This company advertised a specific type of knife used to cut bread on social media. Clicking on the social media ad takes you to a legitimate looking website where you can order various products related to baking. I placed an order for a cleverly designed bread slicing knife in the beginning of December and didn't receive information about shipping details about for several weeks. Due to the holidays and this company appearing as a small business, I continued to wait for information about my order. It never came, finally I returned to their website to find contact details in order to track down my order and come to find out this company claims to be located in New Jersey but the exact address appears to be a loading dock. When digging further, it appears there are dozens of people who have left comments on their social media ads who have also placed orders and never received any product. When I finally did receive an update with the shipping details for my order, it appears to be coming from China. I have contacted the customer support email provided on the site and asked for a refund, to which they replied it would be processed within 5-7 business days. In this case it is less about the money and more concerning about the company that is advertising as if they are a legitimate US-based business but is actually in China.
