Approved for loan 10,000 dollars, was reading the document and it said on page 2 that they were a BBB accrerdited company. When I looked it up, they were not. The loan was to takr place after I paid the insurance money of 226 dollars.

Easy Cash Finance or whomever they claim to be, are contacting individuals regarding personal loans, especially during the time frame where a patron has recently applied for a personal loan. They will contact the individual/borrower verifying their personal information to include full bank account information. If denied after a pending credit approval, their suggestion that you can still be approved under the protection of purchasing PPI issurance for $130.00. (Payment Protection insurance protect your loans from majorly defaulting if a patron can not make the scheduled payment, where the PPI insurance in pay on the borrower's behave. Payment protection insurance (PPI) is insurance that will pay out a sum of money to help you cover your monthly repayments on mortgages, loans, credit/store cards or catalog payments if you are unable to work. This may be as a result of illness, accident, death or unemployment and will be covered on your policy. No, you are not required to pay for it, because most lender will attach the cost of the insurance to the amount borrowed). However, one of the representative goes by the name Jason (forget or don't recall receiving a last name) mentioned that the borrower have to go to a local store to purchase a certain gift card and provide him with the code information. What is the reason why this couldn't be done by credit/debit card? It is explained as, it is considered an illegal transaction according to our company policies to know one's credit/debit card information since there haven't been an exchange of loan agreement information, so the desired gifted card is the best option. He provide his manager's information as Maria Vellen and that they are located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Hint: Majority of your callback from either end do not goes directly to company message board. It is directly picked up or answered, without a proper greeting in providing the company preliminary information. Do not fall for this scam!!! Do not purchase the Apple iTunes gift card. They will try to have an answer for every question to place you at ease and to sound legitimate. Solid and authentic loan companies will not ask you for any up front payment of any kind. Documentations pertaining to the loan will be mentioned, explained, and signed prior to the release of funds via check or by direct deposit, especially pending credit approval. If credit it not required, sufficient alternatives and information in required in lieu of credit such as: references, employment and income verification to include verification through your local bank or however you are receiving direct deposit or being paid.

No legitimate business of any kind, selling or providing any service at all will ever ask you to pay any fees due with a gift card that you purchase and provide the code to. Period. That’s all. No loan company, auto seller, or any business that is not out to steal from and cheat unknowing consumers has any need for or can effectively claim and use funds provided for use on Steam, E-bay or any specified business for business expenses because you can’t pay your mortgage with a Walmart card and your A/P person would prefer to be paid with legal tender rather than a gift card to use on a video game platform. It’s common sense- if the person you are working with requests such payment, regardless of the excuse, immediately hang up or log off the chat, because they just disclosed the fact that you are being scammed.
