I found a Camaro IROC Z28 on eautosls.com that was in absolutely perfect, showroom condition but it was listed for $4,000. I reached out to the sales department via a note as that is literally the only way they use to communicate. There is no option to call the company. The representative Dan emailed back immediately with generic information. I asked if they had any photos of the underneath of the vehicle. Again an immediate response, with a small explanation that they did not have the car in their possession, but it was in a warehouse in Boston, MA. I again asked more questions- where did it come from, VIN #, accident history etc. Again immediately a generic email asking for an appointment to visit the warehouse to inspect it- no VIN or any other information pertinent to the vehicle.

I researched the car more and found the same exact vehicle on eBay listed by a private seller for $20,000. I contacted the eBay seller to let them know the car is listed on eautosls.com for only $4,000. The VIN of the car, which was available in the eBay listing description, pulled up photos of the car at auction in 2017 which were the same photos eautosls.com was using in their sale ad.

I sent an email back to Dan asking why they were listing a showroom vehicle with photos from 3 years ago on their site, meanwhile the car is being sold by a private seller for the price of what the car looks like it's worth through eBay. I have received no response.

The company is supposedly a consignment. The buyer would put the entire price of the item down (in this case, the full $4,000) and then the item would be shipped to you for free. After the 10 day inspection period, if you declined the item for whatever reason you would get your "money back." I have no idea what could have happened if we did in fact put the money down to receive shipment of the vehicle, as clearly the vehicle listed on the website is not the one they have in their warehouse for sale.
