Type of a scam Online Purchase
I notified Barclays Credit Card the day I saw the charge on my account, I disputed the charge AND alerted Fraud Investigations of Barclays. My account was credited with the charge. .I received a new Barclays card due to potential fraud. I also called the company telephone number three times a week apart, then three weeks later. There was only an answering machine saying they were on vacation and unable to answer calls. Three times! The Fraud Investigative Team took over and it took a long time and two more phone calls from me and a fax sent on June 16, 2021 for the Investigation Team to investigate. They contacted the company and were satisfied there was an order. They did not deal with the fact that I did not receive the cremes. I had to call again to even find this out.
Barclays Case File # is *********** The case was referred to Disputes since I did not receive the cremes (products). Disputes decided that since they were "not provided with the true nature of the dispute when first notified of the claim" that the case was closed and I had to "eat" the $134.24 despite having no product received. My only option was the BBB.
