Alright, so the scammer is posing as the eBay help-desk. (Please Note: the website is on the first page of google when trying to find the help desk number for eBay) The initial conversation was quite usual with going through eBay to get further information to build rapport. It got sketchy when they asked me to download an app called AnyDesk Remote Desktop. It allows the user to see the screen of the user. With this they then asked me to go through my eBay to my payment options. And falsely tried to send me deposits. Once that he “attempted” the last part of the scam. While being able to see my screen, he had me go to my banking app. There he instructed me to go to the Zelle tab and press Send. At this point I knew it was a complete scam but went along to get more information out of them. Under the name they had me put my first and last name. Then they had me put the phone number that is connected to their account. This is how I was able to obtain the phone number and name connected to their banking. The number is (512)940-8674 and is under the name Jaleesa. Not once did anyone say the name Jaleesa. The name given was Justin and his apparent employee ID is 1080995. After this he attempted to instruct me to send the entirety of my funds to their bank account though Zelle. I believe that they had me put my name with the phone number so my bank would think I sent the money to myself.

Side note: When I did call his bluff, the man on the phone proceeded to insult my life and told me to commit suicide.
