I purchased makeup for $30 but have not received it and the seller is ignoring my messages. I reported the incident to eBay

- San Francisco, CA, USA • Mar 02, 2024

I purchased four Wyze Cams, but I only received one instead of the four I ordered. ShopNok refuses to acknowledge this mistake. Having three items missing is a significant issue for me. While I could tolerate one missing item, having three missing is unacceptable. Be cautious when ordering more than two quantities, as ShopNok will only deliver one quantity. Positive reviews for ShopNok are likely from customers who ordered only one quantity. ShopNok takes advantage of customers and keeps their money when more than one quantity is ordered. Unfortunately, experiences like this make me hesitant to make online purchases. It's disheartening to feel taken advantage of in situations like this.

Order # K5BC3I-7F-NI4A….Shipping to an individual in Valdosta, GA 31601. I checked my PayPal account and recent activity. There was no activity since late January 24th. Plus my bank and debit card are not currently linked with my PayPal account. The number on the invoice is 1-805-288-7430.

Nicholson was interested in a watch I v had listed on eBay. However he chose to continue our conversation and payment from messages and not through the eBay messages. After, he stated that he wanted a $400 apple gift card with the watch. Then I received a gmail from [email protected] that said I had to send a picture of the gift card with its receipt. Both pictures were sent to the gmail and then

[email protected] said l needed to send the buyer $600

because they charged him double. I had not received the $1,300 dollars and had to give him the $600 from my bank account. Half of it was sent to Diana through PayPal and the rest was from my mothers Apple Cash which is linked to her bank account. Come to find out they withdrew $600 from my mom and not $300 (we didn't find that out until later though). Later the gmail asked me to pick up a $200 ebay gift card which would be give to me plus the $1,300. Again I had to pay the $200 out of my bank account. However I got the $200 on two separate cards and I was supposed to get it on 1 card. Therefore I had to get another $200 eBay gift card and email the pictures to the gmail. Now around this time Nicholson stopped replying to me and I realized I was blocked from texting or calling. This is also when I realized I had been scammed. The email is now asking for $400 apple gift card to seal the deal and give me my money; which I will not send.

I was diagnosed with AMD in my left eye. After doing research online to see if there was anything that could help I ran across an AD for these AMD drops. I purchased these eye drops on eBay because that is where the link took me. After using for over 3 months I see no results at all and that was confirmed by two Prominent eye doctors here in Orlando. After doing further research I see there is little to no testing or clinical results on any of their products. I contacted the company after I ordered asking questions on what I should expect from their AMD drops and got lip service and didn't get any answers but they offered to send me a free box of drops because I complained how expensive they were. I sent a note to the company complaining that I was seeing no results after over 3 months but the never responded. It appears that these drops are nothing more then modern day Snake oil ans they are scamming people all over the world. Since it was long past the ebay return or refund 14 day window they are no help at all. The only research I can find at all is a British News channel that had a few people try their Glaucoma drops and they claimed they worked. That seems to be their biggest claim and now I have my doubts how valid they are? I'm amazed that can be sold here in the US and on eBay. It would seem that the FDA would have some sort of oversight of this type of shady product involving peoples eyes. How would they do a recall like all of the recent tainted eye drops? I hope that your agency will take this serious and forward it to the FDA for further review.

1-2023 I saw a car for sale on Facebook they referred me to Ebay Motors. They gave me an ID# 45745890876345. I was trying to buy a truck through Facebook for $800. I sent $800 Ebay Motors to Felicia Clayton by way of 4 gift cards for $200 each. her email was: [email protected]. She asked for the card #'s by email via Ebay motors. They told me I had to pay insurance for delivery of $800.through Ebay Motors I made monthly payments to them. I kept trying to get a hold of Ebay Motors 866-961-9253 but couldn't get a hold of them. I finally got a hold of Peter Wilson a week ago. He gave me a case ID# 10022011997. & his email address: [email protected]

he gave me 2 ph#'s for him 831-420-8969 & 805-849-2256. 7-27-23 he wanted me to buy 3 Target gifts cards of $498.00 each. He wanted the gift card #'s & I did not buy them. I told him I didn't have the money. He said, " Well take your time & I will call you back Wed 8-2". He lowered the card price to now $ 1028 & told me I would be getting back $3084. for what I had already paid.

I dont know how to say it but they wont refund me and im speaking to a ******* BOT

Seller sends a wrong item and then sends a return label. When delivered states that it was not received and refunds a partial amount keeping the rest

I bought a $689 Astro from eBay that I never received I called eBay four times in total they are still not trying refund my money

Was tricked into playing this "Wheel of Fortune" prize drawing sweepstakes game which I caught sight of while web-surfing on eBay,and after 3 spins on the prize selection wheel,I was informed that I had won an Apple Ipad Pro which I would only be required to pay for the shipping & handling charge of just under $10.00. Couldn't get my debit credit union card to go through with carrying out the transaction(thank GOD)and immediately called my credit union fraud dept. # to find out why,and then they rectified the situation by shutting down the card & urged me to inform my financial institution the next business day in order for me to at least get a new card issued,in order to prevent further incident.

They intend to send part of the order and charge for the whole order then make it imposable to get a refund and they are using a very close image of your bbb logo on his web sight

Ordered product on eBay. It didn’t arrive on time. I’ve been trying to return and get refund. I called a number for eBay support and was on call almost an hour. They wanted me to download helpdesk app - what’s concerning is they had all the information from my order. I was suspicious but they had that info so thought it was legit. I hung up- they tried calling back several times. Also sent the text attached

They advertised a mobility scooter for 70 dollars and I paid for it but never got it

I have advanced listing fees never used that service and refuse to pay it. Would like you to take it off my account. This is the second time.

Thank you

I tried selling a used laptop on ebay and this scammer is trying to scam me.

He bidded on my item and trying to make me part with my notebook.

Most likely he is using the switch method, once he got your laptop he replaces it with a old one send back the old and damaged one for a new one.All he has to do is claim item does not fit description and he wins.He got his new laptop and his money back.

I run a check based on his address on paypal.

Fake name, fake address, fake telephone number.

Don believe me ...you run a check see for yourself.

Motti Morell

+972 0523040333

65 Yigal Alon st.

floor 2

Tel Aviv 6744316

Israel

Noticed that he gives incomplete address.

this is a toyota building tower 1.He intentionally left it out.

He places level 2, he don't even have a unit no, his company actually covers the entire 2nd floor.

I don't know for you man, if this is in singapore the monthly rental would be at least in the 50k-60k range monthly.

What is funny is he bids on a 2nd hand laptop, not only that i told him not to bid as my shipping cost quoted does not cover his area, which he ignores anyway and bids on it after i told him not to and he threatens to leave bad reviews if i don't send it.

Ask yourself this question, why would a company CEO wanted to cheat a honest newbie seller with zero sales record out of a few miserable shipping dollars.

2nd point - his name Motti Morell

this is his linkedin profile

https://il.linkedin.com/pub/moti-morell/14/280/604

He is a CEO of a big company called Morell Ltd. If You run a check on it on google it comes up nothing.

I don't know if you mention SEO in your profile as skill set and i can't find your company on google, that is serious red flag.

His "company" actually covers the entire 2nd floor in a high end toyota building.

I don't know.... something is telling me this guy is not right.

I questioned his moral based on his actions.

My guess is this guy is using a fake account to drive the competition away, i don't know why he pick me, most likely i'm a easy prey with zero sales record and don't know the country exclusions stuff.

Frankly, i am dissapointed at ebay for siding a shady character in this.I know there is zero protection for sellers right now, so i removed my listing.

End result = zero sales

Who wins in the end -

Ebay wins and paypal wins,

Newbie seller lose

Shady buyer nothing to lose laughing at newbie right now.

I have attached the whole scam thing on screenshot, right now Ebay has siding towards the scammer and asked me to sent this scammer my notebook right now.Which i refused of course.

Noticed how this scammer pressurized me into sending my notebook to him threatening to leave bad review, which i don't give a damn as i'm mostly a buyer.

I got a hunch he got a mole working in ebay and he is doing this everyday.

This guy or team could be raking in 15k to 20k monthly with zero exposure in the market.

All he has to do is to complain, and play "Mr innocent good buyer"

Ebay don give a [censored] they are being paid to play dumb and blind.

Who is paying for this?? The naive seller of course.

It seems this scam thing has been pretty common on the internet.

I'm not the only one suffering from this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTVKRD2xOOQ

This is truly an eye opener lesson.

I wonder which is worst ???

The one who is scamming or the one profiting huge with his eyes closed...You tell me.

I'm from singapore, kindly ignored the address part as i can't fill it in without a usa zip code.

Please email me for the rest of the pictures.

This case is being closed which could be the result of his mole.

Best regards,

Newbie Victimized Seller
