On Facebook Marketplace I found a vehicle I wanted to purchase. The seller used Ebay Motors Protection Program to have the vehicle shipped to me. I received an email from Ebay Motors instructed me to buy 4 Ebay gift cards in the amount of 200 each and to scratch off the pin number and take a picture of the pin and send to them. Then they asked me to buy 4 more cards totaling 800 for insurance and they would reimburse me if I kept the car. Then they emailed me saying the MN Border customs wanted 1,000 for taxes. That's when I told them to return the car and refund my money. I haven't heard from them. My case ID VPP65863645. I actually called their customer service to verify that I had an order and they said yes.
