I found an ad on FB Marketplace that said I could make money. I went through a training where all I had to do was click a link and submit. Well, those links added to or subtracted from a running balance at the top of the screen (my "profits"). Sometimes, you would click on one that is called a bonus opportunity - one where instead of making 1.5% per click, you could make 7%. However, this reduces the "balance" to a negative amount. They require you to deposit at least the negative amount into the account in order to proceed to a pre-determined amount of "trips" (Clicks plus submission). I reached a point where I made a "bonus" but was unable to cover the "negative rebate" number ($160). I had already deposited my last $50 to cover a previous bonus trip.
This left me in a hole I could not cover - one that I was not warned about during the training which called this easy and risk free). So, I am out $50 and am required to deposit $160 in order to have the possibility of making that total ($50 + $160) back.
