The man presented himself as a licensed electricianbut I later found out he is not after searching. I did not know how to search before. His wife sent me a quote itemizing work needed for the rewiring of my home. Boasted of doing high end jobs. That he would do the work up to the required code/laws. Had a team of 2 other guys. The work was shabby. Overloaded junction boxes. Did not have dedicated lines as promised. Panel breakers did not match main panel with inside of home panel amperage. 70 amp outside and 100amp inside. Grounding bars in inside panel was missing. Left old wiring in walls. Wiring was sloppily done. Wrong wiring used per SCE connecting on roof to city electrical and wrong connectors. Had 3 power outages over time since work was done in 2023. Fake contractor used wrong conduit for crawl space and did not hoist but layed on ground deteriorating into powder. Exposing wires allowing for fire hazard if in contact with rain water or rodents.Inspected by professional/certficated electrician and corrected costing me an additional $2700. I just want others to be aware. Get an certificated inspector. City inspectors don't do their jobs either. Complained about one when I got my roof replaced. Nothing was done. Bless the next person. I warned another person I saw him working on their house but it was too late. Hopefully someone will see this before using him.
