All done through emails & Zoom. When I ask them for a address so I could confirm business, they refused. They just wanted my direct deposit number and W2 info. When I told them they where not getting that info until I had a legit address in the states from them they stopped emailing and zooming. The person I was zooming with is Paul Edwards. The company is out of Australia with a web site, he is not listed as a employee. Also on the website it does not say anything about having branches in the USA.

After posting my resume on Indeed and Monster, I was contacted via text by an Anthony Williams from EBOS Group. He said that my resume was reviewed and that Allison Davis, hiring manager, wanted to discuss an employment opportunity. I signed up on Zoom and 'Allison' and I chatted for quite a while yesterday. She asked all the right employment questions. There was never any video, only written discussions. Then she asked if I could chat this morning to get the hiring process started. I agreed and she proceeded to send me an online check which would be used to purchase software and office supplies for my new job. The check email came from Superior Rock Bit Company out of Minnesota. I asked 'Allison' how they were affiliated and she said "They would be helping the company with a few assistance regarding setting up the new branch. Since we are affiliated with different companies and there some companies that are owing us, the check was issued out from one of these companies to serve as our refund, just incase of a next time….Understood ?" This doesn't make any sense and makes me think this was all a scam.
