Contacted a friend on Facebook only it was not his account. The hacker acted as though he knew me but mainly to get me to join cashapp, buy 100 in bitcoin send that to a unknown wallet address and THEN be paid 1200 from accountant at ebt group.

I reported the user in Facebook, which fb may give them a medal or something. Also reported the phone that was the accountant lol.

I lost 0 because it was just piss pour execution on their part. My buddy would have known more.

Ask questions, who they are, work for, explain the process, names and more.

Also both sent me near identical photos showing driver license. So obviously they were stolen photos and accounts.

Once you send bitcoin to a wallet you can't get it back.

Do not send any money to get a lot more money. That's a scam.

Verify your friends on Facebook. Ask questions they would know. Even question they won't know.

Don't get scammed. Protect yourselves.
