Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was to work from home to help the company do some online research. The scammer also said that his company was an International company setting a base in the U.S for the first time.I was therefore given a task to Bank a cheque on behalf of a customer it was $1902.24 worth. I was supposed to send it to them as soon as the money was availed to me. The cheque looked real and so I banked it. When I told my host family about this they told me it was a scam .
And it was truly fake because:
I called the bank and indicated from the fake cheque and they told me that there was no existing account like that.
Money has also never been availed in my account till today
