she needs special container to ship on plane to keep her warm and safe. 3 kinds from ? $1000 to $600 rent and refundable. Instant red flag but Eduardo says no no you Ned’s it hun to keep your puppy safe. I’ll help You pay cuz it’s fully refundable. Dumb me fell got it and he pays $400 and I PAY ANOTHER $300 thru Zelle. Now we are ready to ship again. Then we get another email that the puppy has arrived at the airport and has not had a parvo shot and other vaccine. Now it is another $600 to get shots before she can get on the plane. I’m so upset and really feel I’m being scammed but Eduardo keeps promising me on is mothers grave my puppy is coming. I argued that she should have had parvo and all vaccines when I purchased her. I got nowhere with that but she can’t get on the plane so Eduardo paid $300 and I paid $300. How stupid I was. All I saw was my puppy. Anyway ….now we are vaccinated and fly. We get to Minnesota and I get another email that now her licenses and fees haven’t been paid. Another $600…..BUT WAIT….I said no…. Now I’m going to be charged with puppy abandonment if I don’t come ip with $2400 within 4 hours. That’s it…. CHARGE ME!!
Turns out I got Eduardo to admit the pup was never on a plane. She was being driven here. Well dumb me….wanted my puppy…Eduardo says he has the puppy and can still deliver it. I still owe him. $300. I had cash. Bought 2 $150 gift cards. Sent him pictures of cards. He’s On his way. Dumb me. He needs gas coming her. Gave him the passcode for the cards…
That’s it…no puppy..no money!
I tried and tried to talk Eduardo into doing the right thing by faking being suicidal to shaming him with his kids and wife.
I am 75 years old and have heard of these scammers all the time never thinking I woul get caught! But I did. I’m too ashamed to tell my family cuz my daughter is always warning me and I thought I knew better.
They are very slick. Use a different phone for each transaction. They screwed up on one card and locked it so they did not get the money. I got a refund from Walmart today. There is also an investigation on the Apple transaction done because it wasn’t happening fast enough for them and they had me check on it that resulted in an investigation and for some reason that $400 was put back into my account. But I don’t know if I’ll get to keep it.
I have the text messages from Express Delivery demanding this money. They tried to delete them but I pulled them back off the cloud.
