online collage. paid the money thinking it is an American school located in India and is legit . they took the money but didn't deliver the service nor returned the money back.

I paid for educational services that were inadequate, so when I reached out to my representative was met with hostility and forwarded to a manager, who was also very hostile. I was told that the services rendered were going to be withdrawn, money refunded, but that I had to pay $1000 for copyrights to information submitted on my behalf. When I said I was confused and needed further explanation, the man got more verbally aggressive and insisted on staying on the phone while I figured out how I was going to pay. Then proceeded to ask what actions I was going to take if I got off the phone to handle the situation. They told me I had 45 minutes to figure it out before they contacted my school and the board of education. Then proceeded to harass me via phone call once the 45 minutes had elapsed.
