Stole money during covid

I placed an order with EIO for rubbing alchohol during the height of the pandemic. It was supposed to be a 1-2 week wait. After several months and stock delay emails I attempted to cancel the order, which they were legally obligated to do https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/selling-internet-prompt...⇄ They had no intention of fufilling orders. The way they made money was to keep everyones shipping fees, Pretty good scam.

Back in February I ordered N95 mask from the company Electronic Inventory Online, or "EIO", at www.eio.com. I also paid for fast shipping. The masks were shown to be in stock. I received a confirmation email that my order was on its way. As my order did not arrive in the mail by the promised date, I inquired about it and was told they were out of stock. A series of back and forth emails ensued and almost 4 months later I still have not received my order. I tried being patient but this now increasingly looks like a company preying on covid 19 and a money scam. I tried to cancel my order and get a refund and was denied by EIO. Do not order from this company, clearly, something wrong is going on. They probably got a bunch of money from people trying to order in preparation for the pandemic and now refuse to give people their money back. I have filed a complaint via paypal and I am waiting to see if I can get a refund that way.

I typed the type of cartridges I was seeking into google search engine and the item came up for sale by this company through Walmart.com. They are a walmart seller. I ordered 2 boxes of 3M 6001 respirator cartridges, 2 cartridges per box. However, I now realize EIO.com charged me for one box, but $19.99 for each cartridge inside the box. The 2 cartrdiges are not to be sold seperately butthey were sold separately totalling $39.98 which I paid via Paypal on March 17, 2020. I got an email from Walmart.com stating to expect delivery at the latest 3/30/20. I thought that to be very long to wait for a supposedly "IN STOCK" item. Nevertheless, I waited and the item never came. Supposedly shipped via USPS, the tracking number is 9400110205974088878340, but it is "DLEAYED" at Torrance,CA USPS. Basically, it never left post office.I suspect my item was never shipped and EIO is not a legitimate business; and whoever is selling these items was actually exploiting covid19 issue and delays with USPS and probably assigning a postage number they had had delays with previously to not only my order every other online order. When I called the telephone numbers on their website, (877- 756-7346 ; 310- 533-5150) they never answer, but conveniently disconnect. When I sent an email to [email protected], I received a message from a "Denise T." stating, "Thank you for your order, and we apologize for the delay with the receipt of your item. This item was tendered to the carrier by our distribution center on March 19, however the tracking information has not been updated to show the current location of the item or when you should expect to receive it. We can either file a claim for the missing item and issue a refund for your order OR we can issue a replacement. Please let us know your preference." I requested a replacement. Then she responded, "We can send another but we are now out of stock and waiting for more. Is that ok?" I then responded, "I really feel that this item has always been out of stock and was therefore never shipped in the first place. Therefore, this wait has been unreasonable. Please cancel and refund. " She responded that a refund was issued but did not state the amount. I wrote back inquiring of the amount, but she did not respond. I later learned walmart issued refund for $19.99 regarding this matter. EIO never issued me a refund. I went online to Trustpilot write a review and saw that others have had similar experiences and complaints. This company is not legitimate and neither are the telephone numbers they provide. They are taking advantage of the fact that walmart is not available to take calls for I waited for a CSR well over one hour and no one came on the call so I hung up. Chat is almost nonexistent and I have not been able to report this illegal activity and request walmart investigate this thief of a seller and remove as a seller. I have contacted Torrance CA police but was directed to file report in Ga. But the officer did say that there used to be a business at the address for EIO but they have not been called to that adress in over three years. I reported this to Gov. Newsom as well. I just checked this business via CA Sec of State and Agent/President is Tachyon Von Gott with Entity #:C3181394. His/her 2008 personal Address: 22412 Normandie Ave, #A Torrance, CA 90502, and a JLRAYR Von Kalenian named in addition to T Von Gott on a Jan 2018 document with CA SOS
