THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU, COMMIT FRAUD AND STEAL FROM YOU. DO NOT BUY FROM EJ GIFT CARDS!!!!!!!!!
The reason that they only give a 1 day guarantee and send you gift cards with $0 balance on them is because this company is fraudulent and scams their customers. They hope that customers don’t use the cards immediately so that they can claim that it is past their lame 1 day guarantee and just keep the money. Most other reputable gift card companies will offer at least a 45 day guarantee on their cards. DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR MONEY. You have been warned…
Stole my money also
They stole my money!
The company emailed me the digital card which should have had a value of $100.00 on the digital card but had no balance on the card ($0.00)
I then contacted the company on March 30, 2020 regarding there being no balance on the card. They stated that I would need to file a claim directly on their website which I did on March 30, 2020.
On April 4, 2020 I received an email stating that the claim has been resolved and that the card was found to have been cancelled due to fraud and that I will receive a refund within 14-days.
14-days came and went and I then opened up the dispute with the credit card charge.
I did not hear anything from the merchant for weeks and I received notice that Citi had closed the dispute in the merchant’s favor. I called Citi and they explained that ejgiftcards.com had sent them over some documentation which read as follows:
Response by ejgiftcards.com:
“The services were received and when applicable also used. The customer was sent a physical product on the subscription date and unless returned properly with an RMA, the customer is both stealing the product and attempting to obtain a refund for a product that has either already arrived to them or is still on the way.”
They are telling the credit card investigator one thing and then emailing me telling me a refund is on the way when in fact they were telling the credit card dispute investigator that I was a thief trying to steal a physical card plus get a refund. This was very insulting. I have all of the emails saved. Ejgiftcards.com did not send me a physical gift card they sent me a digital gift card to my email. They completely lied with the investigation of the dispute. After the digital card was received with a $0.00 balance ejgiftcard.com acknowledged the issue and promised to send a refund.
Their statements are a complete fabrication. The services were not received, not used, no physical product, claiming I’m trying to steal the card with $0.00 balance. I was more shocked when the credit card company sided with them after the lies, they told.
I am in the process of appealing the decision with my credit card company by providing them with the email proofs acknowledging the issue and promising a refund then stringing me a long for 2 months.
I contacted the merchant on May 29, 2020 regarding the refund having not been received.
The merchant responded telling me to wait another 14 days with a new refund date of June 12, 2020.
I am asking myself if the merchant is just playing some kind of game with me. Why would they not be able to just issue a refund but instead schedule a refund date 2 weeks away?
I waited the 2 weeks and still have yet to receive the $90.00 refund, so I contacted the merchant again on June 12, 2020 letting them know that the refund has not been received.
The merchant contacted me on the same day telling me the refund will be issued in another 2 to 3 hours.
It is now June 15, 2020 and no refund has been received. I feel so strung along here. What do I have to do to simply get a refund? How many hoops do I need to jump through?
I would like to receive my rightful refund of $90.00
This is not right; I should not have to be dragged a long and made to wait so long. I did not receive what I purchased therefore I simply want my money back.
Why would a company risk so much over $90.00?
If anyone is reading this, I urge you to just buy your gift cards from a different company.

Bought a ebay gift card from them, the gift card does exist, but with a zero balance. File a claim on 7/25, and have emailed them every single week since then to get an update on the refund. Andrea was EXTREMELY helpful by keeping me in the loop of what's happening with the refund:
"Thank you for contacting EJ Gift Cards. We understand the importance of getting your refund to you as soon as possible. Please take into account that a thorough investigation must take place. Prior to any refund being given out the Claims Department provides efficiency with dealing with any fraudulent activity. We appreciate your patience and we want to resolve this issue to the best of our ability.
Please enjoy the upcoming weekend. A resolution will be given by next week. If your refund hasn't been processed/given notice of the progress to your claims, please contact us this upcoming Tuesday our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM Eastern Standard Time."
You'll notice that when you email them, you'll get a response from Andrea, their head of customer service, but the email is sent to someone name "Sam Smith". Save your money, stay away from "Ejgiftcards", keep your hard earned cash in your pocket, not with Uncle Sam.
Had to file a claim on my credit card eventually, after letting them toy me around for way too long. just shy of 2 months.
Update 10/10/2018:
They replied to this review below apologizing for the inconvenience. It's now exactly 1 week short of FOUR MONTHS with no conclusion to their "investigation". I have also not heard from them since a month ago. I had to file a claim with my credit card, but then found out that they disputed my dispute, so then I had to spend a couple hours to gather and provided all the documentation to my credit card company.
Thank you EJGIFTCARDS for such awesome scams and trouble! Don't believe all the fake reviews on trustpilot. Check out their BBB rating by going to google and typing "BBB EJGIFTCARDS". I'll be filing a claim with them too.

She suggested that I just try again later and wouldn't give me any more help. So I decided to remote in to my home computer, and try a completely new set of information. I set up a new account using my girlfriend's email, and attempted to place an order with her credit card. The website stalled while the order was going through, and eventually gave me an error in the form of a pink bar across the top with the words "Amount doesn't match", whatever that means. That was really strange. My cart was now empty though, so I went to look to see if the cards I was trying to purchase were still available. One of them that was $500 was gone, but the other $800 worth that I was trying to buy were still there. I put those in my cart and I tried again using the same card and address information, and got the pink bar with a different error "Order ID mismatch", again, not helpful or descriptive of what the problem was. I tried emptying my cart completely, clearing my browser cache, and tried going through the entire process again. This time the order looked like it was going to go through. The circle on the submit button spun round and round, but after 3-4 minutes of doing that, the entire website crashed.
I decided to check with my bank to see what was going on with my credit card, and found that the first transaction had posted as a temporary $1200 transaction. My available credit had been reduced by $1200 accordingly. Without making any more order attempts I waited for 15 minutes and checked my credit card again. Now the $800 transaction had posted and my available credit reduced by a total of $2000.
I contacted customer service again, and the lady was rude. I explained the problem I was having and the lady told me that I should have waited and the problem was that I had made too many attempts and the system was locking me out. That could not possibly be the problem because of the precautions I had made to not associate the first set of attempts with the second, using a different computer, user account, address, credit card, etc. The lady had no answer for me about this and then told me that the problem was with my bank and not with them. She said that if I had not received an order number or gift cards, that the order didn't go through. I asked why, then, were there two pending charges on my credit card, and she blamed it on my bank, stating that the money would be back within 7-10 business days. She told me that even though there is a temporary authorization on my card, the money didn't go through. We went round and round with the lady offering no possible solution to the errors. I explained that I planned to report this to the public by posting a review with screenshots and warnings about my experience. She told me to hang on, and then a guy got on the phone.
The guy must be the boss, and he was nice at first, but then after explaining what had happened, he was just as unhelpful as the lady, blaming my bank, and giving me the runaround with absolutely no attempt to provide resolution.
