Beware of Emails from Fake Companies
This is Tina Derrick. I'm calling about your job interview for the Package Checking Assistant a remote job position for Key Shipping. I left you a voicemail earlier today to go over job details, but I haven’t received any response from you, which leads me to think one of two things;
You already have a job, and are not interested in the job that we are offering you.
You are interested but haven’t had enough time to respond to me.
If you're available, you can reach me directly at my number.
Please call me back at (812) 296-9242 and look for Tina Derrick.
Feel free to reply to this email if that works better for you. Looking forward to talking to you.
Kind regards,

Type of a scam Employment
"We got your CV from one of job websites for Package Checking Assistant opening.
This position is work from home.
Relocation and special experience in this position is not necessary.
Your income will be $3,200 monthly + $40 bonus per package.
Average monthly income $4,800.
Your personal supervisor will be in touch to help you out on every level."
I ignored it and a few hours later, someone called from an 800 number by the name of Elaine Braxton, they asked me multiple questions like "will you be able to receive packages?," "will you be able to drop off packages?" They did not ask about my previous experience, they asked if I had a UPS, USPS, or Fed-ex nearby. At this point, I `hung up because I knew it was a scam. The number called back and I told them I was aware that they were a scam. They insisted they weren't and said they would send legal documents to prove it. They sent them and the documents looked very shady, they included EIN 99-3948781. They sent a follow-up email asking me to click on a link and fill out a document with my first and last Name, Address, Email, Photos of the front and back of my valid government-issued ID, A selfie holding my valid government-issued ID. Thankfully, I didn't do any of that but it sounds like an identity theft operation, along with trying to smuggle electronics out of the United States, that is what the "hr representative" basically described the job description as. She said I would be receiving boxes with electronics and would need to print out labels for them and ship them.
