Scammer called and asked if the electric bill was less than $100 and consumer said yes. The scammer then hung up.

I received a call from my electric company stating I had a past due bill and was going to be disconnected, they instructed me to go to 7-11 and purchase a money pak card to pay them. I googled the phone number and realized it was a scam.
