Type of a scam Utility
I answered the phone and a recorded electronic voice comes on and says(this is NOT verbatim):
Hello,
Your electric company was overcharged by your 3rd party carrier. As a result you will receive a refund from your electric/gas company. Please press 1 now to receive your refund.
I immediately hung up because for one, our electric and gas are by 2 different companies and two, if I was to get some kind of refund the electric company would just send it to me or credit my bill, they would NOT call with a robocall. I was not taken advantage of but others might fall for this and provide information about themselves.
