Electronic Commerce Associates Reports & Reviews (13)

I sent my all documents to Marta. I am concerned about my bank account. What can I do now? I didn't know this job isn't legal and I was looking for a home based job that I found it. She said call me,but no answer. I searched the website and everything seemed normal. Can they use my information? Please tell me what should I do now?

I stumbled across ECA (Electronic Commerce Associates) while searching online for “work from home”opportunities.
I did not apply, instead,
I googled scam info on the company and I ended up here in this area.
I searched scam info first, because some years ago,
I was scammed out of $1500-$2000 dollars from a so called payment processing company that was set up similarly to ECA.
They were operating out of Arizona. These criminals are/were serving time & I’ve received restitution, although what I’ve received is nothing compared to what I’ve lost.
So, from that experience, when seeking opportunities online,
I google any information about the company and scams before moving foward with any applications.
Thank you all for your information about this company.

This company is a money laundering scam. They conned some woman into incorporating a company so that they could make a fake check paid out to her company out of my bank account. I have no idea how they got my bank account info or name but I am still out the money and I had to close my checking account.

This company most definitely is a scam despite the fact they list 2 legitimate addresses (Nevada and Canada) and a phone number. I left a message with Marta's secretary for her to call me. Well, Marta called me from 775-341-4512 and left a message. I never returned her call because the email she sent about incorporating businesses and bank accounts in my name read " money laundering!" I filed a report with the FTC.

I first received information about this company on a Facebook ad. Be aware of some of these ads on Facebook.

I agree with you about ads on Facebook. I responded to an ad for "Clorox" work from home, and the person seemed legit at first, so I stupidly gave them my SSN and ID numbers. Next thing you know, they take my information and try to open various credit cards in my name. I signed up for LifeLock after that, and I was alerted to a few more transactions that had been attempted using my information. Thankfully, I (and LifeLock) was able to stop those transactions. Identity theft sucks!

This company is not legit. I filled out an application and started getting emails from a woman named Marta. She asked me to send her copies of my social security card and driver's license. I never did. I have tried calling her several times at the phone number she provided in her email to ask questions about the company. Her "answering service" says she is unavailable and they will give her my call back information. She has yet to call me or email me back.

I’ve been working with these guys for a few months now and I really like it! It’s a great side job even though it hasn’t always been easy, especially at the beginning when I filled out an application and then had to collect and scan and send a bunch of documents. The good thing is they walk you through the whole application process and once it’s up and running you earn solid extra income by working just a few hours a day.

Lies. You must me Marta

Are you still working for them? If so what exactly is involved?

Are you still with the company?
@jesse deal are you done with the process? If yes how is it like working with them?

Is this all legit?

Hello i am curious how long it took you to get through the process I am in the process of getting my business incorporated by them but havent recieved a call when they said they would call me. Any advice?

I do believe this is a money laundering scam. The company has no google search results except for their website. They say they use bank accounts to make transactions. The FBI Put our a warning to watch for this. The company asked for all forms of ID over email. Including SSN and tax information. I asked for further verification from this company and a lady by the name “Marta” said she would call me and never did. Please be ware and don’t fall into these traps
