The scammer had me working as a Copy Editor for the entire month of August. They claimed to offer me a promotion to a Seller position where I would receive an additional salary of $1,500 along with the $190 I earned from the previous position. That earning came from the $5 per Kb of text. They’re posting job offers where they are or were looking for Copy Editors to correct text for their English. They have Sellers use eBay accounts to list items for profit. But the money earned from the items after subtracting the 5% commission would be turned into Bitcoin, and then sent over to the company. They emailed PDFs of checks, said to print and cut out, and follow deposit instructions. They then said to withdraw an amount less my commission in cash, then deposit the cash in their Bitcoin seller's bank account, which seemed valid because the deposit went through. Several days after I made the cash deposit my bank informed me the checks were being returned, and they would tell me why shortly. Subsequently the scammer phone number stopped working and they are not returning emails. Here is the deposit details

A REMOTE JOB WAS POSTED ON INDEED.COM. I APPLIED TO IT AND RECEIVED AN EMAIL OFFERING THE JOB AND IT JUST DIDN'T SEEM LEGIT. WHEN I TRIED GOING BACK ON INDEED.COM TO FIND THE JOB THE PAGE SAYS THAT IT DOESN'T EXIST. THE ONLY INFORMATION REQUESTED WAS MY NAME, EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER AND PAYPAL ACCOUNT. THE EMAIL I RECEIVED DOES NOT HAVE A COMPANY LOGO, AND THE DOMAIN IS NOT FROM SAID COMPANY.
