I got a text out of nowhere from someone claiming to be Sofya Reyna, the HR representative, asking to schedule an intervuew and I thought it was odd because I had not applied with this company. I asked how they had gotten my information and they said it was off of Indeed. They offered many job positions with a wide range of responsibilities and asked what my professional experience was with. This was also odd because my resume is public on Indeed, so they should know what field they would want me to apply for. After this, I looked up if they were a scam or not, as this was all feeling very off. I found a similar experience from someone else on this website, reporting that it was the same phone number as well. The company they claim to be from is based in London and New York, but the phone number is a Florida area code, and it's weird that they reached out through text instead of email or an invitation to apply on Indeed. I blocked the number after this.
