I was contacted via email that I was being considered for a job. I answered some emails as well as received some calls from a ******* D******. She stated in a foreign accent that she was calling me to conduct an interview for a job. ******* described the job to be a work from home accept some packages for the company she represents at my home address. ******* then stated at the end of what seemed to be a very simple basic few questions interview that I was hired and congratulations. I filled out a W-9 as well as a job application. Shortly after that ******* contacted me via phone from 678-666-0631 asking me if everything was good, I would reply yes I assume so. She would then reply stating that I was doing a great job and to keep up the great work. I did receive a couple of documents that were labeled as company training documents. I was asked to review thoroughly and confirm via a company dashboard that I was given access to that I had read and understood and agreed to abide by the terms set forth in said documents. They sent me a document that was an employment contract, it stated that I was to work a minimum of 10 hours of flexible hours from home receiving packages and that I was to take photos as well as print a provided shipping label and send the package off once I uploaded photos of the package to the dashboard. I received a quantity of 2 packages of which i took photos uploaded them in the dashboard and printed the shipping label attached it to the package and sent them off via UPS. The contents of the packages were cheap necklace jewelry. The pay rate for the job was stated to be $4,100 monthly and paid monthly with a $100 bonus for each successfully completed task. The document I received also stated I would get paid this salary for the first month as would be as training. I then recently received an email from ******* with Qty.-4 attachments, the attachments were documents from the state capitol of New Mexico (the state in which I live), the documents stated that this company Elevidia had filed for an LLC in my name with the company name of Auto Good LLC, they also applied for an EIN number with the IRS in my name and under this same company name. ******* never told me that they would be filing these documents or starting this company under my name. I contacted the state, and they advised that all looked legit but if I was feeling leery about it I should investigate more. ******* also asked me to go to Wells Fargo bank and open a business checking account utilizing the documents she sent me. I mentioned this to the person at the state, and she immediately advised me not to, and to also call the IRS to let them know of this situation. I have not opened the account, but I did call the IRS and they said the documents are all legit but also warned to be very cautious. I then went to Wells Fargo bank and asked a banker for advice. The banker also said it all looks legit but stated there were some things to question as well as for me to be leery of. I received another email from ******* yesterday and it contained a document that I need to print and sign my name. It is a payment for my first paycheck in the amount of $4,480. which is $4,100 for the base salary and a bonus for $380. to be paid on December 4th. I must sign and return the document for them to release the check/mail it to me. I have tried to research the company and get more information and try to make a decision as to whether this is a scam or not.
