ditto here, paid 1,000.oo dollars down for elio car with a guarantee money back.No money no car.Tried and tried to get my money back, its hopeless. Louisiana sued on our behalf but I can't even find out if they recovered any of our money. Guess Louisiana is crooked too.

Elio Motors took down payments for their 3 wheeled car that was suppose to start manufacturing in 2009. Now 12 years later they are still taking deposits and have not produced a single car off of the assembly line. They refuse to return downpayments. Paul Elio should be in jail.

Elio motors promised a 3 wheeled car that gets 82 mpg and you could put in a reservation in a non refundable deposit of $1000.00 and it would get you a in line build for a Elio car as soon as “funding” was completed, that was in 2015- to date there is no one you can contact at Elio motors, web sites give phone numbers and email addresses that do not work or Mail systems are full and can no longer take messages. This was the biggest scam I have ever seen, they took 10s of thousands of deposits and we are going to see nothing in return... stay away from this scam...
