I thought I was talking to Budget car rental to rent a car for the week. I ended up speaking with this fellow named "Aaron Shore" and "booked" a car for the week. I was told if I used an Amex card, I can get a promotional price. He told me to get one of the prepaid amex gift cards. I gave him the card number and he charged every cent on it. Then blocked my number so I couldn't reach back out to him. Amex told me I need to take it up with the merchant who was listed under Elite Restaurant Equipment. After looking at reviews, I am not the first person this has happened to. I have called them and sent emails and no one is getting back in touch with me. $400.00 GONE. How am I to ever get that back? This business needs to be stopped.
