I was hired to be a local hub associate and I was to receive packages in the mail ie USPS,FedEx, and UPS inspect the contents in said packages take pictures and forward them in email to company and they would in return forward me back a shipment label to where I would put back on packages and deliver them to either shippers. I did this for 1 month which was called my probation period after completing probation period they would supposed let me know if I made it to permanent employment. I waited 10 days for pay and still didn’t receive it so I emailed payroll and let them know hadn’t received my paycheck well they told me it could take up to 10-14 business days. I waited an additional week and still nothing in the mail, so emailed payroll department one more time to let know still haven’t received paycheck and to this day still haven’t received a response from payroll or the said company HR department. Tried calling them on the phone and I get put on hold for about 5 minutes then it goes to leave a message which I do leave messages and still no response back. Tried reaching out to said curator and got no response back from her either. And tried logging back into the app and it was taken down or something.

Reshipping scam, said I'd work with their fulfillment center with helping to ship items as a "local hub associate"

Can you explain more on how it's a scam? I just started and it seems legit so far, I received a package already. Do they just not pay out?
