Got a call from a woman who claimed to be named Elizabeth Miller and was acting as a federal student loan officer. She said things had "changed" with the loan payment process and she needed to discuss it with me - even gave me a "reference number." The callback number she gave was entirely different from the calling number, vastly different area codes as well.

Do NOT call back this woman or anyone asking to discuss your loans unless you know them personally. Do NOT let these people scare you about your loans. It is 100% a scam.
