Caller stated I was issues a Failure to Appear citation and a Contempt of Court citation for failing to appear for Jury Duty. Caller asked that I bring cash to the local sheriffs office which is closed right now and pay the fine, then I would allegedly undergo a signature test to prove whether or not I signed for the receipt of my jury summons via mail in December 2023. They also wanted me to stay on the phone with them the entire time (assuming so I couldn't contact the Elko Police Department) and provide my odometer reading on my vehicle before leaving my home. At this point another person in my home called the Elko Police Department to confirm whether or not this was real and it was deemed fake so I hung up the call. They were very pushy, stated they were on a recorded line and threated my arrest if I did not appear that day.
