I ordered 4 products from the ellafancy website on Sept. 27th. After I paid I received a confirmation, in Chinese. There was nothing on the website or order page that indicated items were coming from China. About a week and a half later I received an email that one of the products was being shipped. A few days later I received another email that another item was being sent. There were tracking numbers on both emails, but when I clicked on them it said no information was available. A week later and I still hadn't received anything. There was no phone number for customer service, so I emailed the service department asking where my items were. They told me the two I received emails for were on their way and it would take 10-15 days to receive because they were coming from china. They said the others were out of stock. One of the items was ordered for a Halloween party on Oct. 25th (A month after I ordered it). I asked if I would receive it by then and they said no. I told them I wanted to go ahead and cancel that and get a refund. They wrote back telling me they'd give me a discount. I said I didn't want a discount I wanted the item or a refund since it was ordered for a specific event and it would not arrive in time. Several more emails went back and forth with them trying to convince me not to cancel and me saying that I needed to cancel. Then an email came saying that that item and another were canceled because they were out of stock and they would refund those items. In the meantime I received one of the other items which was NOTHING like it was advertised. I ordered a sweater coat made of cotton and received an acrylic robe. I wrote to them and they said I could return it, but had to pay the shipping to China. Then I received the second product which was supposed to be a cotton scarf and was an acrylic cutout, complete with jagged lines and black markings where it was cut out of a printed piece of Polyester. I have since found reviews from people saying the they had the same experience. There's even a blog on the topic https://wisdomganga.com/ellafancy-review-ellafancy-scam-or-legit/. I want to report this company for a bait and switch scam to make sure they don't continue to do this to others!
