Its am email i get every few months. I live in United states. I dont know where it came from. it was an email to my business email address which is

[email protected] They did not get my money. I am just reporting it. I think its middle eastern men who tried to scam me on an online dating site "ok cupid". I reported them to the dating site...they were back the next day same photos different name. The online dating industry is at least 50% foreign fakes attempting to do id theft. Ive experienced it several times. it continues as it seems the sites are never monitored for the paying members protection so the sites get away with it. theyy are raking in money, defrauding their members and guaranteeing id theft eventually for all because people are lonely. Im not sure but when they tried to scam me on ok cupid I noticed i was getting a phishing scam every day in my emails. I also entered the HGTV sweepstakes around the same time. I think they may have also sold my information to the scammers. Im not enetering the sweepstakes anymore. so wrong

I received an EMAIL that ss geeks charged my account $287.00. And added a phone number to call. I called the number and talked to a teck guy named Mike his Phone number is 469-470 0371 out of Lewisville Texas He said the computer was infected. He took over the computer Facebook was locked out because of unuasaul activity. Ok he said he could unlock it witch he did. Next step was to get me back the $287.00 to my account. When I went to the account it only said $200.00 was taken that should throw up a flag to me. But It didn't I am 70 years old and not up to all this stuff. I asked why it only showed up saying $200.00 and he said maybe the made a mistake. So we go to another page to get the $200.00 back of my account. I answered a few questions then he said on the next step to put down the amount I wanted taken back off the account $200.00. He said to be very careful doing this so I started I punched in 2 then 0 then looked at it and it jumped up to $2000.00 by its self i did nothing. I tryed to back space but it would not work. He said it would not and there was nothing he could do. It did show up on my account at that time. He said the only way to solve the problem was to go to walmart and get gift cards for the amount of $500.00 they would only give one because of scams. I gave him the numbers on it and that is how he got the $500.00. I tryed a couple of other places and they didn't have any target gift cards. Then my mine kicked in and said I was scammed. I got home went on my account and everything was erased nothing about the transactions. That is when I knew.

Received email from PNC Bank asking me to click on a button to verify my information, due to a fraud attempt. I do not have a PNC account.

Sent PDF File about the amount that was taken out to renew our Geek Squad Membership. My grandfather (Business Owner) could not recall if he had a subscription to them. The name associated with the email is Camden Hayden. From what I was told, they tried to convince my grandfather to refund the account of 417. 00 and when trying to process that, they were trying to refund 40,000 and then say he would owe back 39,583 back to them.

There is an e-mail that went out to all of my contacts from “*** ***” with an e-mail address of [email protected] asking if you’re free. Once you respond to this e-mail, this scammer asks you to purchase 8 itunes gift cards for $100 each with your own personal money, to scratch off the backs and send me pictures of it. This is NOT ME and a phishing e-mail. Please delete and ignore. Thank you.
