On 3/31/2020 I responded to ebay listing of motorcycle for $800. that offer was accepted and i sent them the numbers from a prepaid eBay credit cards which they also accepted. a few days later they told me i needed to send them another $800 to cover insurance and delivery. after several emails back and forth questioning that cost, we received a plausible explanation and we sent another $800 by eBay credit cards which they accepted. a few days later eBay texted to ask for another $800 for "Oklahoma Custom Tax" which we know doesnt exist. we sent e-mail backto eBay cancelling our order and demanding our money back. haven't heard a thing since. The name of the person we were buying from wasgiven as Emma Quimbley, 1221 s balsam st Apt 29, moses Lake, WA 98837.Emma Quimbly email address seems sto be [email protected]. We were told by eBay that since Emma Quimbley had selected "eBay Money Back Guarantee"that we would deal directly with eBay.
