Have gotten several robo like calls to my personal cell and leaving VM with vague threats of next steps if I do not contact them to resolve a matter. They then called my work cell and left similar VM with a website to go to in order to update to electronic communications and attempt to settle. Website looks real and was able to find my information by entering my cell and last 4 of ss. Debt they stated I have is with a bank I have never heard of and not listed on any of my credit reports. I sent a Cease and Desist letter via email and uploaded it in their chat box as instructed because they refused to provide me with a mailing address when requested 3 times.

Have recieved 2 voicemail messages..1st message states that there is a preliminary investigation legal investigation into my "social" and "active assets" and states i should call 1-888-694-7320. 2. Voicemail message states that i need to resolve a pending matter before a law suit is filed and that electronic communication is prefered. Asked to contact "EMP LEGAL SERVICES.COM"

My name is inserted using a fake woman's voice and the person's voice that left the message is the same voice of the person that left the 1st message. I googled emplegalgroup.com n found the spam rating to be untrustworthy. Also, both calls are not shown in my phone's caller id. Each message has a subtle threatning tone. I am an elderly, hispanic individual and it is very clear to me that both factors are being used with intention of making me agree to payment(s) arrangement.

Scammer called and i let it go to VM. The message was this is a very, very important msg. Our office is trying to get in touch with...(my name said all wrong, first and last). This is a friendly notice that we do require some sort of arrangement right away. If you do prefer electronic communication, please visit our website at www.emplegalgroup.com or just give us a call back at this number. It is very important that we get those handled before anything else. Again the website is emplegalgroup.com. Thank you.

There are robo calls being sent to my family saying I have a legal matter. They say they are trying to serve me with legal papers. When I said I would report them to the police they hang up.

Received call from wv number that my phone blocked as scam, they left a recording an said it was urgent that the matter was resolved quickly and they were looking for my father who does not live here. Because he is in a hospital i put my phone number in and saw his name an checked bbb and seen it was reported scam

Called and left a message stating "This call will notify you that we are attempting to serve you in order to appear in court regarding a preliminary investigation against your social and active assets. For further detail (sic) or to change the status of the lawsuit immediately call our firm at 18886947320."

So they are saying they are bringing a lawsuit.

I called the number and an automated system said this debt was for a person I know but who legally changed their name from the name given 18 years ago and has not incurred any debt in that name for as many years.

"EMP Legal Group" called saying that there was a preliminary investigation against my active assets. They asked me for my social security number and threatened a lawsuit if I did not comply.
