I went to an online website Empire Dad's Dobermann and decided to purchase one of the Doberman puppies advertised. After contacting person by email they claimed they were the breeder (He indicated that his name was Stiasny *******v and that his operation was in Cherry Hill, New Jersey). After conversing back and forth for a while he stated that the fee was $700.00 and the shipping was free for people that lived far enough away and could not pick up the puppy in person. He also said that there was a $50.00 handling fee and a 50 dollar fee for delivery to my doorstep. For payment he requested that I pay with the Vanilla gift card from Walmart which I purchased with my credit card and sent him pictures of the cards and receipt. Delivery of the puppy was supposed to be set for 08/21/2022 but up to this point I was unable to get any details on the shipping at which point I kind of figured I had been scammed. The last email I received just stated that he would definitely be shipped on the 8th. Currently it is the 8th at 11:37am I've emailed the person the times and have gotten no response.
