I received a priority mail envelope on the address listed, but there were two envelopes, I didn't pick up my mail until a few days after mail had originally come in. Posted 2/9/24 and delivered to my address on/or around 2/10/24, I physically didn't get these envelopes until 2/16/24 @ address listed on envelopes. I physically didn't open the envelopes until Sunday Evening and started reading the information inside of envelopes and each envelope contained a check and two pages of a welcome letter and careful evaluation instruction letter on what to do with check, to deposit into personal account and wait until check clears from bank, then once it's cleared to go back to bank and withdraw all, but what my fee is of the check. The amount of check is $3,486.00 and my commission is $300 and stated an extra $186 to cover cost of gas/ transportation and necessary fees, and the assignment was to conduct a Secret Evaluation Task at one of my closest Walmart stores, but with the $3000 I was to go to customer service desk and conduct my evaluation there and purchase 3 money orders in the amount of $1000 each. And for me to take notes of the attitude of the customer service of the employee of Walmart. Then afterwards to text/SMS the supervisor of the confirmation of the blank money orders with photos of money orders and take immediately to FedEx to FedEx first overnight to recipient's address which would be provided by supervisor after confirmation the purchase of money orders and provide tracking number to supervisor given phone number and email. And receive an extra $300 Walmart gift voucher along with a first Survey Completion Certificate. Now after I read these instructions and reading in detail I had red flags from the beginning, since I once before been scammed as such, but different. They make it sound so convincing, for peek sakes it's got Walmart's name and brand on the paperwork with 2 check's in my name, but then the 1st flag was the signature on the bottom of the check, didn't match sender, 2nd flag was signature looked like a copy, 3rd flag business name on check from sender of business name out of Tampa FL and and the ultimate suspicion was I woke up to get a text on my phone this morning that my phone was blocked from number. So then just over an hour ago I determined this is a scam and I reached out to ScamPulse.com and also filed a claim with the claims justice department as well. Also at the end of the instruction letter, in small letters, and quote, If asked if you are a mystery shopper, answer NO. And I had 48hrs to submit checks and the report. The fact that they used my name on a check, that may be fraudulent I'm not cool with. But I'm reporting this because it's the right thing to do. I make my money honest I don't need this fraudulent negative in my life.
