I received an email for an interview for a data entry position and if i was still interested to email back to complete a PDF survey. Once i completed the survey and emailed it back they said it would be graded and someone will email me back for the next step. After receiving the email that they would like to hire me they asked that i send them information such as my Full name, address, phone number and financial solution used so they can determine if they can process my payments needed for the home office. They said they would send me a check to purchase a computer and any items needed for my home office. It had to be through their sources. When i asked if this was a scam the lady was rude and said she was the one offering the job not vice versa, it’s not a scam.

I don’t think a hiring company would be unprofessional like that nor would they ask what financial institution you use, why would that matter? I never emailed them back, but they emailed me asking for an update and i told them i was looking into everything first.
