Job-seekers are sometimes in desperate search of employment and are incredibly vulnerable, and these messages they are receiving are sometimes very convincing. The scam is causing harm to these unsuspecting people, and has also resulted in Clarity Recruitment receiving negative feedback/reviews, thus hurting the reputable brand image we've worked very hard to build.
At Clarity, we never reach out to new candidates through text message, WhatsApp or Facebook and we never require payment from jobseekers. We have had multiple reports of these instances come through our website's chat option, and have recommended that affected individuals block the fraudsters and also forward the numbers to 7726 (SPAM) to report the number but the problem still persists.
