I was approached via text by a recruiting agency after a family member gave them my number after seeing a job displayed in a Facebook post. The job they offered me was extremely different than the one advertised, but I accepted. I was then contacted via WhatsApp by an account named Ella Fischer, who claimed to be a senior member of the job. She explained the position and provided me with training completely through text message. I was told if i get a "super order" i need to deposit a small amount of money, but will get it right back as soon as the order is completed. This turned out to be false. This company is a classic Task Scam. I was told then that I have to complete 3 sets of 40 tasks before I can withdraw any money. I repeatedly got superorders of increasing value within the same 3 sets of tasks until I could no longer afford to deposit money. I was then told that the money I already deposited, along with any commission earned, will be held until I pay the super order ($1232) and complete the tasks. I was told if I do not pay the amount after 11 days, each day after will charge me an extra $100 USD and that "the merchant" will file a complaint against me to ruin my credit. They pay in crypto (ETH) which you need to convert to USD, and when I asked about what tax forms I'll receive I was told not to worry about it and that it will be handled for me. I was never informed of the terms and conditions before signing up or during training. "Customer Service" is only reachable via WhatsApp and Telegram, says they can not remove/undo/etc a super order that you can not afford, and when I asked to resign and have my money or mentioned any complaints, I was given motivational speeches in response before being told I can't resign, but need to wait 3 months for my account to get deleted and my money will be donated to charity instead of given to me. Phone numbers used include 725-322-9994, 725-263-2840, 954-837-8645, 725-724-1747.
