I was approached by text message for a remote job that is supposed to be application optimization for Gong. At first they provided training and just asked me to complete tasks including pressing a button which supposedly gave apps 5 stars in the App Store. Sometimes you would encounter a “lucky” order in which the amount of funds exceeded what was in the “bank” so to speak. You were then expected to add funds out of your own bank account in order to complete this order but then you gained higher commission. If you completed 4 days of this you got a $700 bonus or what they called “salary.” I am on day 4 and deposited my $50 and received a “lucky” order that required me to re-up for $262. I refused to do this and was mocked by the service person.
