Employment - Ever.ag Impostor Reports & Reviews (1)

The job was supposedly through the company Ever.ag. The email was [email protected], the recruiter Simon Clark, and the position was a three month contract position 20 hrs/week paying $69/hr. I completed a text-based interview on Discord with Lian Lavaran and got the "job". She sent me paperwork from PingWind, who was apparently supposed to be the parent company of Ever.ag which I filled out and sent back. She then said that for the position the company would send me a tablet, laptop, and phone, and I just needed to pay for the insurance which would then be reimbursed the next week ($699). I sent half of the money through Zelle to [email protected] and the other half through PayPal to Ariana Macklin ([email protected]). Today I got messages from Lian Lavaran saying that I was to get checks to cover the costs of the sponsored items and she sent a photo of a check paid from Annie Adams that I was to deposit. I did not deposit it since it seemed suspicious. I contacted both companies and researched online and came to the conclusion it was a scam and am in the process of reporting it to the police.
