I was approached about a job and they sent me a fake check they said I would use to buy work supplies for the job. Luckily Wells Fargo caught the fake check quickly before they were able to get any money from me.

Someone reached out to my daughter via her school email about a pet sitting job that paid very well. Once she bit at the offer they then instructed her to continue emailing through a different email ([email protected]). They stated they couldn't talk on the phone because they were deaf and they were not in the US yet - they were moving. I have copies of all email correspondence as well as a copy of the front and back of the check. We were able to stop her before trying to deposit the check $3700 check they sent her. She gave them her full name, email, home address, and cell phone.

I was contacted by a woman on behalf of Babylon health. She then redirected me to “Kimberly Eyhorn” who poses as the HR representative and we only messaged each other through zoom messenger . She asked me a few questions , no visual or in person interview and I was immediately hired. I was emailed a check from @[email protected] from bravado supermarket in Florida for 2,132 dollars from the “company” to send to an outside vendor. I went to a Walmart to send out the funds but the employee stopped me after hearing my story and immediately knew the scam right away as her sister fell victim to it
