A scammer posing as vice president Stephanie Putnam of Fanatics Inc. claiming to reach out my Production Website offering a job position as a video editor for the company. They said they reviewed my profile on Indeed and reviewed my portfolio on my production website. They took me through an interview process and hired me in a span of 24 hours. After hiring me I was handed what seemed like official W-4 and company agreement documents that I completed and turned in. Once I turned these in I was then emailed a false check and told to deposit it in my mobile bank app to purchase supplies for the company. I took the check up to my local bank to confirm its legitimacy but turned out to be a false check.
