I was looking for remote jobs on google. This was a sponsored website so it appeared on the top. They asked for my phone number and messaged me on what's app. The job description was vague when I asked for details they said they need me info first. Against my better judgement I did give them identifying info. And then they said you application was approved and I will hear from "the person in charge" soon. It's states it's a Canadian company but the number they contacted me from had the country code 44 which is the UK.
