The number reached out for a job interview opportunity for Scripps Health. The interview was conducted via Zoom- Chat only. No video. The scammer said this was a preliminary interview and the video interview would come later. The scammer asked for bank info, and email address and conducted a general standard interview. After the interview, a work-from-home position was offered for $35/ hour based on my resume and skills. The list of positions available was long. I was told a supervisor would reach out over the weekend for onboarding information. I was asked to log back into Zoom on Monday to start. The chat continued on Monday, saying they needed the name of my bank so they could send me a cashier's check for the supplies needed to start the position. I told them I didn't have a bank account and the offer was revoked. The interviewer blocked me on Zoom after discovering that I would not give out my bank information. I still called my bank to put an alert on my account. Please don't be scammed. The company Scripps Health looks legitimate, I believe the scammers are a 3rd party using the company to gain information for theft and malicious intent.
