Last January 4, 2024, a Melanie Obernman talked to me and said that is working in HEAP Inc. Previously a person referred me to send an application to this company. After that Melanie Obernman said that I am already hired in a position with HEAP, Inc and that I need to go to Staples to print out the cheque she sent to my email. I was surprised that funds worth 600$ went to my TD Bank account. She also instructed me to purchase 4 gift cards using the deposited amount but after 3 days, my bank account was deducted a total $598. I immediately reported it the incident to TD Bank and informed me that once it is determined as fraud, they will return the amount. Then after 7 days, I got an email from TD Bank saying they will not refund the amount. I will also provide screenshots to provide validity to my claims. TD has declined my request for a refund thru an email that was sent last January 17although I provided details and documents to prove my claim in my previous request to them. It is also the Bank’s responsibility to double transactions that are coming in on accounts enrolled to them. Especially those malicious cheques and transactions.

TD declined again my claims. They never investigate the claim properly.
