Be it that this email seemed strange I google searched a reddit forum using the address, 30 Broad Street on the 14th Floor. I found a forum dating back as far as 5 years ago and as recent as 26 days ago. In these posts interviewees were scammed out of hundreds of dollars by this company claiming to need the money for a food handlers license. Here is the thread: ********************************************************************************...⇄ company has been able to scam most likely thousands of New Yorkers who are looking for honest work by using job posting sites like Indeed to mask their exploitation.
My hope is that there is a process in which this situation can be investigated in order to protect tax paying job seeking New Yorkers from this outcome.
