I was called for an interview by Joy from EMR Services. It was for a front desk position in a corporate building. She stated it requires an OSHA 30 certification and a CPR certification. She stated that the company will assist in acquiring the certification, but it will be $150 and that the money will only be collected if I am hired. When I arrived, I interviewed with Anthony Bruno and he stated that I have the job. He explained that I am paying for the OSHA 30 certification and the CPR certification just as Joy had explained and stated $150 is a downpayment but I will be required to pay $799. He asked if I'd be able to pay the balance and I said yes. He stated that the company will not be taking it out of our paychecks and I said ok. He followed up with telling me that the job pays $25/hour, I'd receive health insurance for myself and family under Blue Cross Blue Shield, and the corporate locations are all in Manhattan. I initialed my name, signed the contract and then he folded the papers that I'd signed, put them in an envelope and handed it to me. He'd stated that I can just contact him when I am ready to make a payment and that I cannot start working until the balance is paid in full. When I read the contract, I saw that EMR Services is actually Eagle Multi-recruitment Services and they have multiple negative reviews stating that they are a scam. In addition, one of the clauses stated that EMR Services cannot guarantee employment of any kind, or what a client will earn upon entering job market, or what schedule the client will work, start date, work site, benefits, or any other factor pertaining to employment. While I was on my way home, I received a creepy text from him stating that I am very nice, he liked meeting me and then he asked if I'd like to share a margarita with him.

I received a phone call from a Thomas stating be was from Eagle Services, he asked me if I had an oasha card I stated no and then he appointed me an interview when i got there the vibe was awkward and seemed fake. I met with a Bruno and he barley ask me questions about the job, then said to call Thomas i guess he was expecting the 100 for the class, the Thomas was extremley rude on the phone no company would never talk to any one like that and i knew it was a scam. i have text message proof of his behavior.

I was called about a job offer regarding front desk work. I was asked if I could come to an interview the next day, to bring my ID, resume, and $150 in cash. When I was interviewed I was told about a certification program I would have to complete before being eligible for work placement. The 150 in cash was a deposit for the training, the total cost being $499. I was led to believe I would be OSHA/CPR certified and was asked to bring the remainder of the cash to an orientation on Tuesday, October 10th. I was told that the location of the orientation would be given to me day of. During this exchange, I did not receive anyone's full name, and when I asked my interviewer for his card, he instead gave me his number and the name "Mr. Stevens". The office looked as though it was cheaply staged and there was no business name printed on the entrance, nor did the front desk have cards or business information.
