I was abit skeptical because I couldn't find him on Linkedin or even Google!
He said it was an online interview but we did the whole thing on Whatsapp which I thought was unprofessional. He didn't even have a display pic.
He was keen to give me the job despite me not having a printer, scanner, photocopier or fax machine. I also had no experience with the 3-4 pieces of software he mentioned.
Because he already had my phone number and email address, I changed my passwords for my bank, PayPal etc. to be safe. I thought maybe I had signed up to a dodgy job-site in which case he would have my password too.

Luckily, I did not share any of my personal information or bank details with him. I searched the company name on google, they have legitimate website and job posting for the same. Later, I figured Emrick is using the name of Canadian company "Emereck". So I immediately told Ahmed that I am not interested and blocked him.
Beware of this company!
The next day I received an email from Ahmed Hasen from Emrick Construction Company. The letter is just a basic email without any company logos or letterhead, or all the typical contact information you would get in a legitimate offer. I also did not apply to this job, and my qualifications and resume do not demonstrate that would make me an excellent candidate for this job.
