SCAM! Please don't even entertain the idea of buying from them! Our Devon Rex passed away a couple of weeks ago that my family has had for 15 years. We were looking for a new couple of Devon Rex kittens and stumbled upon this fake cattery. My mom sent $500 and then started getting a bad feeling. She paid to have the number searched, and it said it doesn't exist. She spoke to "Paul" on the phone and he had a very thick filipino accent and not an American one which is strange since he claims to be born and raised in Washington. She asked him to send her other pictures and he won't respond. Hopefully she contacted her bank in time for them to reverse everything...we are all so heartbroken.

NOW UNDER A NEW NAME! Devon Rex kitten crush empire is their new name. They stole $300 from me and I’m lucky that’s all it was because they almost took even more. Absolutely disgusting what these people are doing. The first warning sign was they wanted me to get a visa gift card for payment. I can’t believe my mom and I were so gullible! I’m not sure what action to take but PLEASE no one place an order from this site you will get scammed.

I was painfully scammed by David Anderson on the purchase of a Devon Rex kitten. Unfortunately, as my kids were so very excited in the notion of finally receiving a Devon Rex kitten, i hastily responded to Dave Anderson's request to send the payment via Zelle from my bank. SCAM SCAM SCAM is all i can say. I feel extremely burnt and ashamed that i fell for this [censored] of a human who is behind this scam. I truly hope that this person or persons is/are held 100% accountable for their fraudulent activities. Anything i can do to assist, please let me know. Sincerely, GDK

Many thanks to everyone who shared here. It was helpful to see your experiences. We were considering a kitten from https://amistosadevons360.com We started the process and received email from Dave Anderson. Just counting, it looks like he had 6 litters all in the month of March.

Because of you, we paid closer attention and saw all the same issues and red flags. Copied pictures, sense of urgency to complete the transaction, no in person contact information (phone number). The address listed in Billings Montana shows as a home for sale on Zillow.

They are using stolen pictures from my professional site along with many other notable friends sites. We are at a loss as to how to protect the public and future adopters as these scam sites continue to change their names and rob people. They have used the name Enchanting Devons, Alluring Devons, Alafia Sky, Amitosa Devons...the list grows.
Beware of any site with purchase now buttons, with someone pushing to take your money, with a deal to good to be true. Get references! Pick a Devon Rex Breed Club breeder who is bound by a code of ethics... Don't get drawn into a fishing scam.

Replying to my OWN message. ALAFIA Sky is NOT connected at ALL to these sites and is only warning others of these sites. Forgive me, Alafia Sky and Lisa for my haste.
Unfortunately THIS site is set up to only allow posting and not editing very dangerous. And you cannot remove, or edit anything once posted. Their contact us button does not work...and results in a daemon mail failure. Nice!( Not)

Found through google images pictures on other catteries of his cats he is trying to sell. Has another website for Bengal kittens. The testimonial pages are identical with only the name of the cattery and type of cat changed w/no photos. Several kitten photos he has on the Devon Rex page are stolen from Kitten Up. You can report his URL for abuse at: [email protected] or call (201) 377-5952.

This "business"/Website is a pet scam. I researched the information and there is no such business. Further, they are not listed as being USDA inspected as the website claims. I did a reverse lookup on the photos of the kittens and found them on several websites in Russia.

Their response to my email inquiry is attached. It is similar to emails reported from other scam websites.

I was looking to buy a kitten for my young children. I googled the breed Devon Rex and the top result was the cattery EnchantingDevons247.com, supposedly in business since 1995, registered with CFA and TICA, and owned by Dave Sabrina Anderson. Their website lists many kittens for sale that are all 50% off and they have testimonials and an online chat that connects to a person to answer questions. ?

I was then emailed a transcript of the chat and asked which kitten I wanted to purchase. They sent me a contract to sign, which I did, and then sent info for payment via Zelle. I should've been suspicious but was so caught up that the kitten I wanted was available and on sale and that I needed to act quickly. I sent the money via Zelle to the email address they specifified, and only when the money went through did I realize that this whole thing was a scam, and there had been a dozen red flags along the way. ?

I have texted and even spoken with the scammer, but the phone number they contacted me from is a Google Voice line. The email address I received for the Zelle payment was: [email protected] and Zelle names: "Justin king Dave A." That got rejected twice, so he gave me another email, which like an [censored] I used and it went through to: [email protected] and Zelle Names: Taquan Manning.

I just had a strange feeling about this "cattery" so I thought I'd do a search on reviews for this place, and landed here and read your story. I'm so sorry. Thank you for sharing your situation.
