"Found" Inflation Reduction Act. which could rebate money for a/c and water heater.
went over my finances to see if I qualified. YES
Signed contract and attached loan agreement which the rebate would pay back.
I was repeated told the money would be sent to me and I could use it or invest it as I needed as Long as I paid it
back on the due date.
He told me stories of other people using the money and investing the money. Repeated again... money sent to me...
Equipment put in days later. No paper work, warrantees manuals etc left by installers. I had to contact the mfg directly to get
the info.
I received my surprising first payment due statement from Momnt finance by end of next month. I called and asked why I was getting
a statement and payment notice? I was told the PureEnergy Solution Co got all the money right away.!!!
I called the sale rep. He told me the finance co. knew nothing about government programs . Don't worry.'I still had received no money.
I finally got through to a "gate keeper" who sounded very responsive to my situation and concerns that I have been scammed. She got my information to the sales rep's supervisor. He called me back and said ...The state of FL didn't even apply for the Inflation Reduction Act until
July. So there was no money in april when it was promised. He said it will probably arrive in January. That is in the state not my accn't. don't worry.
Now it's December. I have tried calling Co. getting same woman gate keeper. She said she'd call right back. Never did.
I have talked with Mr. Morgan with the FL Office of Energy which oversees many rebate programs for the state. He said there isn't any money and probably won't be til maybe next year. He told me the only possible way to get a rebate for the already installed eq. it if I had an enery audit before the new eq was installed. Well, that sure didn't happen.
So. I am responsible for the $18000 loan. One which I never would have signed up for if not for the promise of the rebate in total. The payments monthly are almost 95% of my social security payments. I'm screwed!
